Mission of the Journal Through scientific communication among diverse categories of researchers (scientists, faculty, graduate and doctoral students, master's students, and agricultural specialists from Russia and abroad), the journal aims to promote the development of agricultural and agroforestry reclamation sciences. The focus is on the rational use of agricultural lands and the prevention of land degradation processes (desertification, salinization, alkalinization, etc.) through scientifically grounded technologies and integrated reclamation strategies. The journal emphasizes the use of remote sensing, GIS technologies, and scientifically proven research methods to enhance soil fertility, agricultural productivity, and the development of rural areas under the conditions of global and regional climate change, extreme weather events, and to address priority challenges in the agro-industrial complex at the regional, national, and international levels based on sectoral and interdisciplinary knowledge.
The journal purpose is to publish and distribute the fundamental and applied research results of russian and foreign scientists on agriculture, forestry and land reclamation scientific support, highlighting the problems of rational nature management and adaptation of agroecosystems to changing climatic conditions.

- Timely dissemination of the latest achievements in Russian and global science in the fields of agriculture and forestry;
